New Year at the Eliseev Palace Hotel

On the 31st of December 2003 around 80 people gathered at the mega-screen at the new Victoria restaurant holding champagne glasses in their hands to listen to the President's congratulatory speech.
Moika river embankment at the Stroganoff Palace for about half an hour turned into the scene of the great multimedia and pyrotechnic show.
The guests could admire it from the terrace overlooking the roofs of the city and the dome of the Kazansky Cathedral.
At the Taleon restaurant everything was ready for the celebration: traditional New Year's menu of the Chef Alexandr Dregolsky, 2-part performance of the famous singer Larisa Dolina, clowns with the monkey being a symbol of the New Year and dancing until dawn.
