A starry duo of guests at the Taleon Club On 18 September members of the Taleon Club will be able to enjoy a performance by two married stars – Leonid Agutin and Angelica Varum. In contrast to many popular performers who owe their success to producers and image-makers, Angelica and Leonid have music in the blood, so to speak. She is the daughter of a noted composer and received a superb musical education. Angelica intended to become a dramatic actress rather than a singer, but fate decided otherwise. Her talent proclaimed itself loudly and her very first song became a hit. Today her performing biography includes not only musical work, but also acting on television, in the cinema and in the theatre. Leonid is a graduate of the Moscow Jazz School, he studied at the State University of Culture and won many variety contests. His music combines jazz, rock and ethno motifs. Leonid Agutin’s gift as a musician and composer has been acknowledged by one of the world’sgreatest guitarists, Al Di Meola.
