Library

The room is decorated in the Style Moderne popular at the beginning of the 20th century. Decorative motifs of intertwining plants are used in the ceiling engravings, fireplace carvings and in the details of the furniture ordered by the mansion's last owner, Stepan Eliseev. The marvellously well-preserved furniture was made in 1903 in the famous workshop of Paul A. Dumas. Eight people can be seated at the library table, and a reading niche provides a convenient place for confidential conversations.
